On Saturday 19th October we will be unveiling two new blue plaques. At 2.00pm we will unveil the blue plaque to Stan Barstow at his birthplace: 17 Shepstye Road, Horbury. A little later around 2.30pm we will unveil a blue plaque to bandleader Angus Holden at the Peel Street building of the Horbury Victoria Band. All welcome.
In the evening, at the Cluntergate Centre, we are screening ‘Joby’ the 1975 TV adaptation of Stan Barstow’s eponymous novel.
